The BEST Pecan Pie! (Add Chocolate!!)

When it comes to Thanksgiving, nothing says "enjoyment" than having friends and family into your home for fun and football! Oh, and you can’t forget the best food ever! Here’s a Chocolate Pecan Pie that’ll absolutely put everyone over the top.


1 1/2 cups pecans
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch salt


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Spread the pecan pieces and the chocolate chips evenly on the bottom of a pie shell.
Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Pour the filling over the pecans and bake until the filling sets which should take 50 to 60 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing. Cut into individual servings and serve. Use whipped topping or confectioner’s sugar as a topping/garnish.
