Fourth of July Events Not To Miss!
How are you planning on celebrating the Fourth of July? With only a few days until the holiday, it is the perfect time to start pulling out your favorite red, white, and blue decorations to show your American pride. Keep these local events in mind that are the best way to celebrate Independence Day.
Start the holiday celebration early on July 3rd with the Pre-Party in Memorial Park from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Feel free to pack your own picnic to enjoy with your family, a beer garden, and a stage with live music that will feature Sierra Madre’s own Groovy Lemon Pie! 222 Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, CA 91024
On July 4th, all of the fun continues, starting at the Firecracker Fun Run at 8 a.m. at Kersting Court (Corner of Baldwin Avenue and Sierra Madre Blvd.)
The 5th Annual Fun Run is an “unofficial 5K event,” but there will still be a running clock if you want to see just how fast you finished the course. Runners, walkers, dogs on leashes, and strollers are all invited out to enjoy the event! There are plenty of other activities going on in the community on the 4th as well, including a parade that starts at 10 a.m. and the community picnic that will begin at 11 a.m.
